Set in an older, well-established, eclectic beach neighborhood, these 9 residences were challenged to find a balance between “blending in” and creating “modern” new homes. Overcoming the constraints of assimilating to the neighborhood, each home was individually designed with its own distinctive styling. After a long, contentious development process the brand statement was developed to engage homebuyers that were seeking a luxury home, at the beach that incorporated new elements without destroying the neighborhood “vibe”. Tying to the beach culture and personality of this community, the brand was created to resonate with its buyer profile that ranged in age from 40+ couples with families, to retiring couples. Using local vendors, and artists, the imagery stayed current and authentic. The project sold out in less than 5 mos.
